A: I had a Dyson V8 and while it was working, I was able to use the dryer vent cleaning kit, but the attachment was not clean as the dyson has click in attachments. I ended up duct taping the dryer vent hose to the Dyson to keep a tight seal, and keep it from falling off all the time. Next time around I used my smaller shop vac it worked much better.

They used too little material and the flexible hose is not quite big enough to go around the dryer vent hole and hardly attaches to the manufacturer's trap box. The plastic strapping can't attach the hose to the vent hole. I used duct tape and that comes loose after a load or two because the moisture gets to the sticky side of the tape.
